Summer patrol dates released

This patrol season, volunteer surf lifesavers across Australia will be back on the sand every weekend and public holiday.
Remember, the safest place to swim is between the red and yellow flags, where surf lifesavers can see you, reach you and help if things change quickly.

2026/27 Patrol dates:

Western Australia  

Broome SLSC patrol dates are 3 May 2026 to 11 October 2026  

Oct/November 2026 to March/April 2027 ( pending Easter )  

   

Northern Territory  

1 June - 30 September  

   

South Australia  

10 October - 29 March  

  

New South Wales 

26 September - 26 April 

  

Queensland 

19 September - 3 May 

North QLD April to November TBC 

  

Victoria 

1 Nov - 30 April (dates differ within these dates depending on location, not a fixed State wide start / finish date)  

  

Tasmania
