About the Surf Life Saving Foundation to Surf Life Saving Australia transition

The Surf Life Saving Foundation, which operates Surf Life Saving Lotteries is becoming part of Surf Life Saving Australia’s core operations. This is an administrative change designed to streamline national fundraising and improve efficiency.
We want to streamline our national fundraising operations to improve efficiency, and deliver greater impact for frontline lifesaving services.
Some changes and Privacy Policy updates commenced in March 2026, and will continue rolling out leading up to June 2026, when all materials will reflect Surf Life Saving Australia branding.
During our transition to SLSA, you may see a mix of materials referencing both the Foundation and SLSA. This is temporary. All materials should be updated to SLSA by the end of June. Thank you for your patience as we complete this work.
No action is required from you. All ongoing support and supporter accounts will continue seamlessly.
Yes. Only minor administrative updates are being made. The security and privacy of your personal information is important to us and will continue to be protected under Surf Life Saving Australia's updated Privacy Policy. The collection, use, and protection of your data will remain unchanged.
Yes, gradually. As part of our transition to Surf Life Saving Australia, website pages, emails, SMS messages, and ticket PDFs are being progressively updated to reflect the new branding. These updates are visual and administrative only and will not affect your lottery entries, login details, or payment information.
No. We are incredibly grateful for your continued support. Funds raised through Surf Life Saving Lottery ticket sales are used exactly as they always have been - supporting lifesaving services, equipment, training, coastal safety research, and beach patrols.
Nothing about the purpose or impact of your support is changing.

No. All prize homes, vehicles, interior design packages, gold bullion and other prizes remain unchanged. The same quality, value, and prize experience continues — just under the Surf Life Saving Australia banner.
Yes. All permits have been updated or reissued under Surf Life Saving Australia in line with state regulations. Ticketing and website information will now display Surf Life Saving Australia permit details.
Our existing program continues unchanged, and any future developments will be communicated through our regular supporter updates.

No. Your Champions Club membership will continue seamlessly. Funds raised will be used exactly as they always have been — supporting lifesaving services, equipment, training, coastal safety research, and beach patrols. Nothing about the purpose or impact of your support is changing, and you will continue to be entered into every eligible draw for the chance to win a luxury coastal prize home.
Only Champions Club members who choose direct debit will see a small difference to their bank statement — with the debit now referencing Surf Life Saving Australia (SLSA) instead of Surf Life Saving Foundation. This is part of the transition only — nothing else about your membership or support is changing.
No action is required from you. Your ongoing support will continue seamlessly.

No — lottery tickets are not tax deductible. Because you receive an entry into a prize draw, the Australian Taxation Office classifies it as a purchase, not a donation. This remains unchanged.
No. Your chances of winning remain the same and follow the same draw structure as before.
Yes — you will still receive your tickets. As part of our transition to Surf Life Saving Australia, there is a short, planned gap between Prize Home Lottery 235 closing on 27 May and Prize Home Lottery 236 opening on 3 June. This brief pause allows us to complete required banking and compliance steps.
There is no impact to your support. Once Lottery 236 opens on 3 June, your tickets will be issued shortly after, as usual.
